Michelle is from Manchester and works for the BBC on Blue Peter. In her spare time she specialises in combining art with functionality by producing artwork of iconic rock figures on canvas bags and T-shirts.  She is a self taught artist and also produces pencil portraits and canvases, and is happy to consider any ideas / commissions.

PUNK ROCK CARTOONS – David Worth
Cartoon Caricatures of bands and people from the world of Punk, Alternative, Metal, Movies and Pop.
David, from Blackpool’s first cartoon was published (thanks to John Lydon) on his website and the PiL Official site.
A cartoon of the ‘Country Life’ butter advert was published in John Lydon’s ‘Mr.Rotten’s Scrapbook’. This was the only cartoon in the book not drawn by John himself and is something David is extremely proud of.
His work has been published in Digital Arts magazine, The Blackpool Gazette and Front magazine and displayed  at the Solecreator Shop launch, Rebellion Punk Festival, Manchester and Salford Illustrated and at the Punk Museum at KGB Studios in Los Angeles.

Joey Mutant (aka Joe Public)
Joey is from Stalybridge, Manchester, and is artist, web designer, songwriter, vocalist and punk. He is lead singer/songwriter in the experimental punk band, Black Light Mutants.
Joey works with a mixture of traditional physical media and digital artwork combining the two to wonderful effect. He likes to keep a dark punk collage aesthetic to his work and takes inspiration from a variety of sources and explores many different themes in his artwork, such as music, politics, antiwar, antigovernment, anti authority, personal relationships, personal commentary, social commentary, sexuality, life in Manchester, being a punk and the alternative music scene.

Pogger Art
The enigmatic Pogger lives in Leeds and specialises in weird and wonderful urbanite creatures.
Pogger tries to explain “I often get people asking what the hell goes on in my head? I don’t really know myself to be honest but I make horrible looking characters in the form of paintings and illustrations. “
These can be seen dotted around Leeds on hand-made stickers and posters. Pogger has done work for punk bands including The Afternoon Gentlemen, Chiens, Agathocles, Thrashers, Dry Heaves as well as a Tribute to Rudimentary Peni compilation CD. Look out for his work on recordings by China Shop Bull, Dead Subverts, Global Parasites.

Punk Britannia Art – Paul Hannah
Self -taught artist from Leeds . Paul’s Tessellation Portraits are influenced by the work of MC Escher and Chuck Close. His “Big ‘Ed” portraits are “a bit of fun but seem to be popular”.
His “Big ‘Eds” have been used as Cigarette Cards in the Deluxe version of Geoffrey Oi!cotts Album “No-one Hits Like...” and also in the lyric sheet of Born to Destructs latest album “Punk as F**k” and tour posters for Louise Distras and Rob Galloway

Dr. Victor Freakinstyle
Freaky, funny, perhaps funky. That’s what my work should look like, but if you wonder whether my sculptures have more meaning below their skin:
My work is about our obedience when it comes to valuing things; we have become consumer freaks that are lacking opinion. I want to show this mindless following of marketing by making freaks out of low value material, specifically sheep bones, in approachable style.
In a lot of my sculptures I use bright colours, representing our money driven modern nature, to create a contrast on bones that forms a spotlight for Mother Nature.

Tony is from Cheadle, Staffs and is a self taught artist.  He has been drawing and painting punk rock images for over 35 years on paper, canvas and jackets, and has shown his work at the Rebellion Punk Festival.  In recent years he has started his own business, Unu Designs, painting murals, commissions and making hand-crafted gifts.
